My clicker on the remote does not work for my iPhone?
Check the socket on your iPhone for dust or fluff, which can cause bad connection to the remote as it creates a barrier between the plug and the phone.
 
Which phones work together with the Nakamichi headphones?
At Nakamichi, we design and construct all of our products to play sound at an ample level with any music-playing device utilizing a 3.5mm standard socket. We include a microphone and remote, as the majority of all portable music players are cell phones.
At about 130mm / 5” distance from the left earpiece, you’ll always find a microphone and remote on a pair of Nakamichi headphones. The microphone is omnidirectional and receives frequencies from 15Hz to 16KHz and is constructed to capture voice at optimal capacity. The remote has a single-button control for handling music and incoming calls.
We have chosen to adjust our products to support the dominating standard for mobile two-way communication, based on the 3.5 mm plug. This standard is used by most manufacturers such as Blackberry, HTC and Apple, except NOKIA devices. For manufacturers who are not adopting the standard concerned, adapters are available from them.
 
The NK850 fits too tight on my head, what can I do?
The NK850 headband is made of metal so it is possible to bend the ear to loosen the headphone for a more comfortable fit.
 
The microphone on NK780 is not working, what’s wrong?
Ensure that the connectors are correctly plugged into the headphone and your music device. The TRS (3 conductor) connector must be plugged into the headphone and the TRRS (4 conductor) connector must be plugged into your music device.
 
How do I remove the tips / cushions?
Hold the headphone? in one hand. With the other hand, pinch the cushion near the end that goes in your ear and twist. The flexible cushion will slip off over the ear stem.
 
Which sized tip and style is best for me?
Everyone's ears are different. Try each tip and style to see what fits best for you.
 
The sound sometimes disappears from one side of the headphone, what’s wrong?
The headphone is broken. Please read our warranty text and see if your one-year limited replacement warranty is still valid for you to apply for a replacement.
 
How can I determine whether my headphones are authentic products?
If I successfully registered my headphones, does it verify my headphones/serial number to be authentic?
As long as our products were purchased from an authorized Nakamichi retailer, the products are guaranteed authentic.
 
 


 
MINI SPEAKER:
 

Usage Description:

•Battery: built-in lithium polymer battery, music can be played while charging.

•Charging: Connect your mini speaker to a PC’s USB port or a DC-5V (0.4A-1A) power adapter for charging. The red indicator lights on when charging with the device being power off, and lights off when fully charged. The indicator lights purple when charging with device being power on.

 Operation of Basic Function:

Power on: Turn  "OFF/ON" button to "ON" position to power on.

Using the Line-in function:

1. Turn on the power.
2. Plug the mini USB cable into the LINE IN/5V socket.
3. Plug the 3.5mm jack of the cable into the headset of your music player.
4. Play and control the music from your music player.

Using the MP3 Player function:

1. Turn on the power.
2. Insert a MicroSD card into the MICRO SD/TF socket. Or Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port.
3. The MP3 music will auto play.
4. Control the music on the control panel.


FM Radio:

1. Plug the mini USB cable into the LINE IN/5V socket as radio antenna.
2. Long press the Play/Stop button to switch mode from MP3 to FM radio mode.
3. Tune the radio channel by pressing forward/backward button.
4. Long press the Play/Stop button to switch from FM radio to LINE IN then to MP3 mode.
When I switch on my mini speaker, why is there no music play back?

Try turning off and on the device again. If it does not work, the battery may be flat. Kindly recharge the device.
Plug the mini USB cable into the LINE IN/5V socket of the mini speaker and connect the USB cable into a PC for charging.
 
Why does the mini speaker volume become softer after a few hours of music play back?
  1. After playing music for a period of time, the voltage and current of the lithium battery in the device are reduced, thus causing the volume of the mini speaker to be .
  2. When this happens, plug the mini USB cable into the LINE IN/5V socket of the mini speaker and connect the USB cable into a PC for charging.

 


 

LIMITED WARRANTY FOR PRODUCTS
 
How do I know my warranty is valid?
As long as your headphones were purchased from an authorized Nakamichi retailer and you are able to provide a copy of the receipt, the warranty is valid from the original purchase date. The receipt validates the manufacturer's warranty, which covers any possible manufacturer defects. It does not cover abuse, lost or stolen product(s).
 
What are the terms of limited warranty for my purchase?
The product warranty only covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, in accordance with the specifications and warnings, for a period 12 months from original date of purchase.
 
It does not cover product issues due to water damage, repair by unauthorized parties, tampering, misuse, modification, acts of God and accidents. It also does not cover lost or stolen products.
 
If my product is defective, what is the proper procedure to setup a replacement under the warranty?
In the United States, please drop us an email to support@nakamichi-usa.com stating:
  1. the problem or issue (provide photographic proof if possible)
  2. your name, contact email and daytime telephone number and
  3. scanned receipt showing the date of purchase from our authorized retailer
Our customer service representative will get back to you within two working days.
 
Would I get back exactly the same model upon replacement?
The same model will be provided when stock is available. In the event that the stock is unavailable, the Company will replace with a new or refurbished product of similar value.
 
Can I get back the same colour for my replacement?
The same colour will be provided when stock is available. In the event that the stock is unavailable, the Company will replace with other colors in stock.
