This is the most powerful sound system I've ever heard. It's a beautiful work of art that makes my house rattle. I am blown away by the sound that comes out of this set-up. Sounds like a room full of speakers. Thank you for this amazing sound system nakamichi.
The Dragon is by far the best sound par system you can find. When needed the system steps up to the plate for for the best movie experience ever. If you want punchy bass, and clear dialog this system is for you (sound effects really shine with Dragon).

Got this about two weeks ago, installed it last week. WOW. The difference between this and my previous nakamichi setup is night and day. The reviews were not kidding when they said this system packs a punch.

Just set this up. I still got to move a few things around but got it rockin. Yes, this is one badass mofo. For movies and ps5 definitely top notch and still don’t have it completely dialed in. Got the subs with the 8 inch and peerfect for movies and games plus ordinary tv.
Serious power and quality. I have over 20k invested in an AVR Klipsch/Emotiva 5.1, and the Dragon will compete at that level. For movies, it's the best Atmos system I have heard and is even on par or better than the movie theatre. The two 12s sub are no joke.
I have been completely blown away by another Nakamichi product. I was first blown got into Nakamichi shockwafe 9.2.4 1000 watts and it was okay, but once it got the DTS X update it took it to another level.
Very happy with the Shockwafe Wireless! I only wish they would make custom stands for the Shockwafe Wireless speakers the way they do for the Dragon speakers!
No regrets, switched over from the Bose soundbar ecosystem and am incrediblt satisfied with the audio quality and ease of use Nakamachi has engineered with this new Shockwafe.
I watched a lot of videos on the shockwave and knew I wanted more but didn’t like the price tag so got this one and let me tell ya it doesn’t disappoint I was willing to try it for 45 days thinking I was sending it back but man this thing ROCKS!!!!!!
Easy to operate, adjust the sound the way it sounds best to you. Quality of the sound is spectacular it’s so clear sounding, love the way the sound surrounds you in the room. Just the right amount of power. It’s hard to put it all in words how nice it all sounds.
Sounds amazing, work every penny. Subs are great. Sounds 3D even with my open room and horrible ceiling with beams. Loud, crisp, clear. I can hear all dialog.
The 11.2.6 Soundwafe Wireless delivers excellent sound quality for its price right out of the box. Unfortunately, when I purchased in July 2025 the bar needed a manual USB firmware (FW) update to work with the app as it was still on early FW. However, the support experience was amazing.
Wow..bought the two sub system for my basement projector. I have the Sonos arc and two subs in my living room. This system is on the same level. Would recommend over Sonos for home theatre only. Sonos is better with live music. If you watch a lot of concert video go with the Sonos.
As awesome as everyone says. Out of the box, it sounds really great. After going through room calibration and updating the firmware it sounds fantastic! Pay close attention to speaker placement for optimal performance of your surround system.

Before we even get to the soundbar itself, the customer experience needs to be highlighted. I received several communications from Nakamichi before I even installed the system, each providing detailed information about what to expect, how to install, and how to configure the system.
Let me start with the catchline before the story... Absolutely insane, high quality sound. The subs shake the walls and we are constantly looking behind us because the sound is so immersive. I bought this with very little research and expected it was a going to be a mistake.
I was a bit tentative about purchasing this system but went ahead an took the plunge; no buyers remorse here. Set-up was very easy as mentioned in many of the reviews. I will not list a bunch of specifics as I had no issues at all and as mentioned set up was very easy.
I have only had this for a week. This system is everything i hoped it would be from reading up on the company and reviews. I purchased the Shockwafe Ultra 9.2.4 1300 watts system. The sound is amazing. I have had other nice systems over the years Including Bose,Polk and Vizio.
Bought this system after careful consideration of other brands and other possibilities! I read the reviews, and based off of that primarily I decided to go with shockwave ultra. it is unbelievably impressive that comes out of these things set up was pretty straightforward.
why I think this product deserves 6 stars, despite the above, simple. Value. What you get for this price is unbelievable. We have friends who put $6-10k into their media room sound and do not have Dolby Atmos quality sound capabilities like this system provides.
