Why consider dual subwoofers?

For a Cinema-like Bass Experience: Cinemas use multiple subwoofers to create deep powerful bass that envelops its audience. Similarly, having 2 subwoofers at home would replicate the chest-thumping rumbles experienced in theaters, with evenly distributed, realistic bass that puts you inside the action.

99% of SOUNDBARS USE virtual surround sound.
Why Choose a Soundbar with rear Surround speakers?

True Cinema Experience at home: Cinemas are built with speakers located all around the seating area to make the audience feel like they are in the center of the action. Having rear surround speakers replicates the acoustic design of the cinema, bringing a similar experience into your living room.

AptX is a significant step up from standard Bluetooth SBC codecs, enabling 16-bit, wired quality sound to be transmitted wirelessly between devices. This is available on our Shockwafe SSE series.

AptX™ HD makes full use of the increased data transmission capabilities from Bluetooth 5.0, enabling 24-bit, high resolution audio to be transmitted wirelessly from compatible devices. This bringing a superior wireless listening experience and is available on our Shockwafe 9.2 eARC.

If I play older content or music, will I get surround sound?

Absolutely. All of our Shockwafe soundbar systems are engineered with Spatial Surround Elevation (SSE) technology that utilizes proprietary processing and upmixing techniques to deliver true surround sound.

For Movies with surround sound, there are 2 modes you can choose from: Dolby Surround and Dolby Upmix.

For Music (e.g. Youtube) or Movies with weak surround sound content, try our All Channel Stereo Mode! Stereo content will be played through the rear speakers, creating a wider, more immersive soundstage.
