What are the performance differences between Shockwafe eARC and SSE Series?

The Nakamichi Shockwafe eARC is a reinvention of our #1 Rated Shockwafe SSE series. Designed based on feedback from 5000+ reviews of existing owners, our 2022 flagship features:

  • High output amplifiers, upgraded subwoofer drivers, extended range twin-cone drivers and silk dome surround effects tweeters. This combination delivers unmatched 360° Surround and Bass Performance.

  • Enhanced connectivity, with eARC & 3x HDMI inputs. It is also the world's first soundbar with AptX HD, an enhanced codec that enables 24-bit music quality over Bluetooth.

  • SSE Max: a unity of Nakamichi-exclusive, high-performance hardware and software.

What are extended range twin-cone drivers?

These are custom-designed full range drivers, featuring dual speaker cones to reproduce mids and highs independently; bringing superior dynamic range, enhanced tonal accuracy and high-power handling.

This enables the shockwafe eARC to render every sound detail with precision, while producing full-bodied sound from your favorite content.

These drivers are used on the soundbar and rear speakers.
