I have had this system for several moths now. The sound quality is impressive. Surpasses the onkyo and the bose i had previously which where alot more expensive. The atmos surround and 1200w fill the room with rich vibrant sound (and shake the hell out of the whole house). The setup was fast and painless. Simple to operate. I use my tv remote for everything now.

Is the best system i ever heard besides inside theaters i was blown away when i test it the sound is so amazing now i enjoy watching a movie just like in a theater the system having 2 subwoofers is a game changer i own several home theaters systems that i collected during the years but this Nakamichi system is top of the line and the lighted buttons on the remote is a nice touch. You won't regret buying it, best purchase i had made.

Love my nakamichi sound system! The bass is deep and the treble is crisp. The atmos blows my mind. Some shows or movies you can hear the birds or bugs flying around AND above you! Their configuration tool asks you to input the other equipment you are using and then spits out how to connect them all. It could not be simpler. The 2 subs have not been overpowering, and actually provide an excellent amount of bass, yet do not shake our walls unnecessarily like our Vizio Elevate sub does.

The last 3 I’ve owned (Vizo Elevate, LG S95QR & Bose 900 w/ Bass Module) were actually great and I honestly was very happy with them until… When I first setup the Nakamichi Shockwave Ultra 9.2.4ch system, you will understand & hear the difference that Nakamichi is in the Soundbar audio space.

Set up was a breeze, the system automatically detects and sets sound output from the Sony Smart TV. The Hi Range is excellent, Mid Range is superb, and the Bass Range is thunderous. It is loud! Heavy duty bass response from the two subwoofers, excellent separation and phenomenal performance. The soundbar is a fantastic centerpiece. When watching dvd or bluray, it's like I am in a movie theater. Remote is simple and compatible with my TV remote. No connectivity issues at all. Very easy to set up out of the box...

I have been a Bose user in the past. In my opinion this is much, much better. Installation was easy, instructions were clear, easy to read. Connections and placement of speakers are all covered in the instructions. Don't worry if your speakers can't be placed in the perfect location. It will sound amazing. If you live in an apartment, beware. The bass is thundering...

The surround sound on this is ridiculously awesome. You actually feel like you're there in the game you're part of the movie part of the TV show. It's just incredible...My last system was a Sony and when watching movies I would have it set to 70 sometimes 80. This system 40. At 100 I can open the doors and windows and hear music anywhere on my property, which is 2.25 acres...

Definitely an upgrade from my Vizio elevate p series. Doesn’t even compare on sound if you want Home Theater quality sound go with the Nakamichi definitely has a lot of head room on volume if needed. Super loud base sounds really good. Just hope Best Buy will eventually get the Nakamichi dragon 11.4.6 will definitely upgrade sounds amazing in my theater.
