How easy is it to setup a Shockwafe SSE?

Is Shockwafe SSE compatible with ARC/eARC equipped TV's?
All Shockwafe SSE Soundbars sold since August 2019 can receive Dolby Atmos via a TV's eARC port when watching movies from popular streaming platforms (e.g. Netflix or Disney+).
(Note: not all TVs can output Dolby Atmos. Refer to your TV brand’s manual audio output specs).
The Shockwafe SSE only supports ARC. With eARC being the latest standard, am I losing out?
All Shockwafe SSE soundbars produced after August 2019 are able to receive Dolby Atmos from streaming apps on your TV. This satisfies the needs of most users.
For full audio quality, you can connect devices directly to the Shockwafe SSE’s 3 HDMI inputs. This allows you to enjoy full quality audio from your devices.
For full eARC compatibility, consider our Shockwafe 9.2 eARC.

Does the system ship with the latest Firmware?
All new products purchased from an authorized retailer ship with the latest firmware. The latest firmware version is FW35.
Based on owners feedback, we do occasionally make enhancements to the system by releasing new firmware.
Can I expand my Shockwafe with additional speakers or subwoofers?
That is not possible. The system architecture has already been programmed to work only with the existing channels and speaker components that come packaged with it.
I love the design of the Shockwafe eARC remote. Can I use it with my Shockwafe SSE?
Most essential functions will still work. However, you will not be able to access the "Clear Voice" Function on the SSE Series.

Can I upgrade my Shockwafe SSE to use Shockwafe eARC components?
No. Our Shockwafe eARC components are designed with different hardware and software architecture, and will not be compatible with Shockwafe SSE.
